Having this information to hand helps us understand your needs and improve our service to you.

WHAT ARE COOKIES

The cookies we use:
• Allow you to connect with social networks like Facebook.
• Make our website work as you would expect.

Allow us to continuously improve your P2 website experience.

We do not use cookies to:
• Collect any personally identifiable or sensitive information, unless done so with your express permission.
• Pass personally identifiable data to third parties.

If the settings on the software that you are using to view this website (your browser) are adjusted to accept cookies, we take this and your continued use of our website to mean that you are happy with our Cookie usage. Should you not wish to use cookies from our site or want to remove them completely from your computer you can learn how to do this below, however in doing so it is likely that our website and those from other companies will not work correctly.

TYPES OF COOKIES AND THEIR FUNCTIONS

P2 Cookies

The P2 cookies used are designed simply to make our website work properly for you, by:

• Allowing you to add comments to our site
• Remembering if we have already asked you certain questions (e.g. you declined to use our app or take our survey)

Our site uses the following cookies:
_gid is a Google Analytics Cookie used to distinguish users and has an expiration of 24-hours.
_ga is a Google Analytics Cookie used to distinguish users and has an expiration of 2-years.
_cfduid cookie is used to identify individual clients behind a shared IP address and apply security settings on a per-client basis.

There is no way to prevent these cookies being set other than to not use our site.

Third Party Function Cookies
Like most websites, our site includes some functions and services that are provided by third parties. A common example of this is video content provided by YouTube. Our site includes the following third party functions which use cookies:

• Videos (powered by YouTube and Vimeo)
• Presentation Slides (powered by SlideShare)
• Google Maps
• Other embedded content

Disabling any of these cookies will likely prevent these functions working within our site.

Social Media Cookies
To provide you with the ability to use functions such as "Like", or to share our content on social media systems we have included sharing buttons on our site. These services use their own cookies. These cookies are set by:

• Facebook
• TikTok
• Instagram
• Google Plus

The privacy implications of these services vary from service to service and will be dependent on the privacy settings you have chosen on these networks specifically. Please check with the provider if you are unsure what these are.

Site Improvement Cookies
From time to time we may test new designs or site features on our site. The most common form of testing is done by showing different users slightly different versions of our website and anonymously monitoring how visitors respond to these different versions. The sole aim of this is to provide you with a better experience.

Anonymous Visitor Statistics Cookies
We use cookies to compile visitor statistics which provide information such as how many people have visited our site, what device they used (Windows PC, Mac, Android, iOS), the pages they look at and how much time they spend on the site. This information helps us to continuously improve our website and ensure it is working properly. Device statistics are very helpful should the site encounter problems related to certain systems by allowing us to track down the likely causes quickly. Our site uses the following statistics gathering cookies:

• Google Analytics
• MailChimp

Advertising and Marketing Cookies
Many companies use cookies for online advertising and marketing purposes, indeed you may have noticed that sometimes after visiting a site you see an increased number of adverts for products you have previously been looking at on other sites.

At present P2 Games do not use Advertising Cookies of any kind on their Websites.

TURNING OFF COOKIES

We understand that some users find the concept of Cookies confusing and maybe even worrying. Some users may be concerned that cookies are linked to "Spyware". However, the cookies used by us are very common and in widespread use by many well-known and trusted companies and really are nothing to worry about.

If you are worried about "Spyware" we would recommend you install anti-spyware software rather than switching off cookies. Anti-spyware software will automatically target and delete invasive cookies whilst leaving the bone fide ones there to help you enjoy your web experience.

If you wish to switch off cookies you can usually do this by going into your browser settings and electing to not accept cookies. However switching off cookies will lead to a much reduced web experience with less functionality across most websites you visit.

If you would like to find out more about the cookies we use or still have concerns please contact our Customer Care Team at [email protected]
